Quality, innovation and attention to the environment are the values that drive us in the creation of the new Eco collection for a more sustainable future. When creating new products, we always consider the traceability of the materials used, the low impact of synthetic and natural fibers that we have implemented, and respect for ethics in our supply chain.
In 2021 Calzedonia decided to rethink part of the Indonesia basic collection by introducing
a fabric made with a new yarn obtained from the recycling of PET plastic bottles. The yarn
of the new fabric and that of the lining have GRS certification. The amount
of yarn in each
bikini is equal to the weight of 5 half-liter plastic bottles, while the one piece swimsuit
corresponds to 7 plastic bottles.
Last but not least, it is very soft to the touch, super comfortable to wear and it dries
even faster than other synthetics fibers.
