About the GIFT CARD

The GIFT CARD is a card issued to the holder at Calzedonia stores in Sweden and can be used for future purchases or as a gift for friends and family. The card does not bear the holder's name.
The GIFT CARD is handed over to the Customer when it is purchased and can be used immediately, as outlined below, to purchase goods on the www.calzedonia.com website (the “Website”) or from Calzedonia stores (excluding outlets and factory stores) in Sweden.
The GIFT CARD is only a payment method and is not intended in any way as a financial instrument.

Validity period

The GIFT CARD may be used for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase shown on the receipt given to the Customer when the GIFT CARD was issued, and until the balance has been used up. The precise expiry date of the card can be checked at any time both on the Website and in any participating Calzedonia store.

Characteristics

• The GIFT CARD is available in a range of values to be chosen by the Customer, from a minimum of €…………………….00 to a maximum of €…………………….00.
• No discounts and/or promotions of any kind may be applied when purchasing the GIFT CARD.
• No cost is incurred when it is issued, activated or used.
• It is not reloadable.
• It is activated at the till when the chosen value of the GIFT CARD is paid using one of the payment methods accepted by the store (other gift cards, product coupons or vouchers issued by the Seller or by third parties as part of special promotions cannot be used to purchase a GIFT CARD).
• When a Customer purchases a GIFT CARD, they will be issued with a receipt stating the value and characteristics of the GIFT CARD.
• The GIFT CARD can be used for multiple transactions both on the Website and in Calzedonia stores (excluding outlets and factory stores) until its balance has been used up. The value of each purchase will be deducted from the remaining balance of the GIFT CARD.
• A statement showing the balance and any transactions carried out using the GIFT CARD can be requested at any time in the GIFT CARD section of the Website or from any participating Calzedonia store in Sweden.
• If the balance of the GIFT CARD has not been used by its expiry date, the Customer will not be entitled to any kind of cash payment or refund.
• The GIFT CARD cannot be converted into money and the balance cannot be returned to the Customer in any form.
• The GIFT CARD is only valid in the country in which it was activated and in ………………….
• It cannot be used to purchase other GIFT CARDS or E-GIFT CARDS.
• If the balance of the GIFT CARD is not enough to pay for the desired purchase, the shortfall must be paid by the Customer using the payment methods accepted on the Website or in Calzedonia stores.
• The amount associated with the card does not accrue interest.
• GIFT CARDS that have been tampered with or altered or that have writing on them that differs from the writing that was initially present will not be accepted. Handwritten additions to cards will not be accepted.

Loss or theft

The GIFT CARD belongs to the holder. It does not bear the holder’s name and may be used by anybody who presents it to make a purchase. The card holder is solely responsible for its use and safe-keeping. In the event that it is stolen, lost or damaged, the card cannot be blocked, replaced or refunded.
The Seller cannot be held responsible for any improper or fraudulent use of the GIFT CARD by third parties.

Conditions of use

The issuance and use of a GIFT CARD implies acceptance of these conditions of use, which are available on the Website and at “Calzedonia” stores, and which remain valid until expressly modified or replaced.

Proper use of the GIFT CARD

The Seller reserves the right to check that the GIFT CARD is being used properly and to take action in the event of violations.
GIFT CARDS obtained by any fraudulent or illegal means will be considered null and void.
