In the social field, Calzedonia has collaborated with the San Zeno Foundation since its foundation, which allocates funds to organizations and associations for educational and work projects in Italy and around the world. Since 1999, the San Zeno Foundation has supported more than 1.500 initiatives by collaborating with almost 700 organizations.
To support the Foundation, during the months of October and November, a fund campaign takes place in all Calzedonia stores in Italy for which, if the customer joins, 3% of his expenditure is donated to the San Zeno Foundation. Calzedonia in 2023 supported the foundation with € 1,8 million.
The main objective of the foundation is to offer concrete possibilities to people who find themselves living in situations of hardship, uncertainty and difficulty, towards achieving their own economic and thinking autonomy.
San Zeno Foundation firmly believes in people as true protagonists of their own change, of their own growth towards freedom. It focuses on tailor-made job placements, people with frailty, young people in early school leaving, prisoners. She believes in a school that is a place of well-being for teachers and students, a breeding ground for passion and talents and a trainer for the citizens of tomorrow.
